Our Staff

Charlotte Outhwaite - Franchise Owner and Manager
I started working with the teachers that taught me to swim at age 14, helping out in the weekend lessons. I worked mainly with younger children between ages 4 and 8. I completed My level 1 and level 2 ASA qualifications at a young age and continued to work for a number of swim schools and council pools with children of all ages and abilities until I went to university. I was lucky enough to find George just weeks in to my first year studying at the University of Warwick and was excited to be a part of a swim school with such unique teaching styles. Whilst at university I am part of the Swimming and waterpolo club and play for the womens waterpolo team.

Kat Milkovics - Swimming Solutions Instructor
I have been swimming for many years, and have competed at County level for swimming and National level for synchronised swimming. I did my level 1 swimming qualification with my swimming club back in Ipswich and have been a teaching assistant for about 4/5 years, doing all ages from small children to adults. I've taught council lessons, but much prefer teaching for Swimming Solutions as there are much smaller groups and you get to be in the water. I find being in the water really helps, especially with children who are new to swimming.
Sara McDiamond - Swimming Solutions Instructor
Sara joined us in 2009 as a supply teacher, and has since become a full tim member of the Swimming Solutions team for the winter term. She has worked as a lifeguard for 5 years and completed her Level 1 ASA award in 2008. She has a lot of experience with young children in their early stages and has also coached at club level. She has taught at two different swim schools in Somerset, as well as PE lessons for local primary schools. Having being a competitive swimmer herself, she has real enthusiasm for developing new swimmers. She enjoys the Swimming Solutions approach as it facilitates a much more personal approach to teaching and ensures the swimmers are able to meet their potential in the fastest time.
Alison Longman - Swimming Solutions Instructor
Alison has been a competitive swimmer from a young age and continues to train and race for the Warwick University Swim Team, where she is currently club captain. However Alisons claim to fame has to her successful 2009 solo crossing of the English Channel! She completed it in just over 11 hours! (which is bloomin fast!). You can follow her adventure at http://aliswimsthechannel.com
With so much of her spare time spent in the pool, Alison felt it was only natural to share her love and enthusiasm for the water with younger swimmers. At the age of 14 Alison began helping in the lessons at her local swimming club and as soon as she could, she gained her ASA Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications. Alison loves watching and helping the children progress in their swimming at every level and the small groups at Swimming Solutions means you can really work with each swimmer on a one-to-one basis.
All our Teachers are checked with the Criminal Records Bureau and are individual members of the the Institute of Swimming.
